40th anniversary celebration of Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau was held on November 15th at Temple Tree House under the leadership of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
In connection with this celebration event, we also introduced several new services and welfare activities including a separated mobile app for the jobs abroad, SLBFE’s digitalization program, improved 24/7 call center service, improved insurance and compensation schemes, and expanded home loan facilities.
Hon'ble Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath, Hon'ble Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment Arun Hemachandra, Hon'ble Deputy Minister of Tourism Ruwan Chaminda Ranasinghe, Hon'ble Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eranga Weerarathne were together at the occasion.
A ceremony marking the 40th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment took place at Temple Trees on 15 November with the participation of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
During today’s commemorative event, several new services and welfare initiatives were introduced for the migrant community, including a dedicated mobile application, the digitalization programme of the SLBFE, upgraded 24/7 call centre services, enhanced insurance and compensation schemes, and expanded housing loan facilities.
