Sri Lanka is gearing up for INFOTEL 2025, the nation’s flagship ICT exhibition, which will be held from November 7 to 9 at the BMICH under the theme “Fueling the Digital Economy.” The exhibition comes at a pivotal moment as the government accelerates its efforts to achieve a USD 15 billion digital economy and expand the benefits of technology to every sector of society through the 100 Days of Digital Programme.
INFOTEL 2025 will bring together more than 300 exhibitors, including leading global technology companies, innovative local startups, academia, and government institutions, creating a powerful platform for collaboration. With over 25,000 visitors expected, including 5,000 students, the event will highlight advances in AI, fintech, cybersecurity, digital health, e-commerce, and education technology, while also showcasing government-led digital initiatives designed to improve governance, public services, and connectivity.
More than just a technology showcase, INFOTEL 2025 represents a movement to build an inclusive and knowledge-driven society. By engaging youth, entrepreneurs, and rural communities, the exhibition will ensure that every citizen has the opportunity to experience firsthand the possibilities of digital transformation and contribute to shaping Sri Lanka’s future as a digitally empowered nation.
