In line with the local launch taking place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, the new Human Development Report by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) was handed over to Hon. Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, by Ms. Azusa Kubota, Resident Representative, UNDP in Sri Lanka in the presence of Hon. Eranga Weeraratne, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, along with technical colleagues from UNDP.
The new HDR titled ‘A matter of choice: People and possibilities in the age of AI’ explores pathways that can be made towards human development, in a world thriving with AI.
