ඩිජිටල් ආර්ථික අමාත්‍යාංශය සංවිධානය කළ නවෝත්පාදනය, පරිපූර්ණත්වය සහ ආර්ථික සවිබල ගැන්වීම පිළිබඳ ජාතික වැඩපිළිවෙළක් ආරම්භ කරමින් ‘එක්ව ගොඩනඟමු' (Together We Build) තේමාව යටතේ 2025 ගෝලීය ව්‍යවසායකත්ව සතියෙහි (GEW) සමාරම්භක අවස්ථාව නොවැම්බර් 14, අරලියගහ මන්දිරයේ දී සාර්ථකව පැවැත්විණි.
ගෝලීය ව්‍යවසායකත්ව සතිය (GEW) යනු නිර්මාණශීලිත්වය, සහයෝගීතාවය සහ ආර්ථික වර්ධනය ඇති කිරීම සඳහා නවෝත්පාදකයින් සහ ව්‍යවසායකයින් එක්ව සමරනු ලබන ජාත්‍යන්තර වාර්ෂික සැමරුමකි. මෙම වසරේදී ද, ශ්‍රී ලංකාව ගෝලීය ජාලයේ කොටසක් ලෙස ඒ සඳහා අඛණ්ඩව සහභාගීත්වය ලබා දී ඇත. වැඩසටහනේ ජාතික සත්කාරක සංවිධානය ලෙස මෙවරත් කටයුතු කරනු ලබන්නේ ICTA ආයතනයයි.
‘Together We Build’ වැඩසටහන ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ව්‍යවසායක ක්ෂේත්‍රය එක්සත් කිරීම, ප්‍රජාවන් බලගැන්වීම සහ නවෝත්පාදනය තුළින් තිරසර වර්ධනයක් ඇති කිරීම සඳහා වන මුලපිරීම් සඳහා ප්‍රමුඛත්වය දෙයි. GEW 2025 දීප ව්‍යාප්ත වැඩසටහනක් ලෙස ක්‍රියාත්මක වීමට නියමිත අතර, ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් සතු නිර්මාණශීලිත්වය, ඔරොත්තු දීමේ හැකියාව සහ සහයෝගීතාවය පෙන්නුම් කරමින් ජාත්‍යන්තර වේදිකාවන් තුළ ලාංකික හඬ මතු කරන්නටත් මේ තුළින් උත්සාහ දරනු ඇත.
මෙම අවස්ථාවට ගරු අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය හරිනි අමරසූරිය, ගරු ඩිජිටල් ආර්ථික නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය එරංග වීරරත්න, ගරු කර්මාන්ත හා ව්‍යවසායකත්ව සංවර්ධන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය චතුරංග අබේසිංහ, ජනාධිපති ජ්‍යේෂ්ඨ උපදේශක ආචාර්ය හාන්ස් විජයසූරිය, සහ ඩිජිටල් ආර්ථික අමාත්‍යංශයේ (වැඩබලන) ලේකම් වරුණ ශ්‍රී ධනපාල ඇතුළු ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ප්‍රවීණයින් සහ දේශීය ව්‍යවසායකයින් විශාල පිරිසක් එක්ව සිටියහ.
පැමිණ සිටි පිරිස අමතමින් ගරු, අග්‍රාමාත්‍යතුමිය පෙන්වා දුන්නේ රජයේ දැක්ම වන්නේ අදහස්, අවස්ථා බවට පත්වන, ආයෝජන ආකර්ෂණය කරගන්නා නවෝත්පාදනයන් සහ පුරවැසියන්ට එහි ප්‍රතිලාභ ලබාගත හැකි රටක් නිර්මාණය කිරීමයි. ඒ වෙනුවෙන් ඩිජිටල් ආර්ථිකයක් සඳහා දේශීය ව්‍යවසායකයින් සවි බලගැනීමේ ජාතික කාර්යයට සියලු අංශ ඒකාබද්ධව කටයුතු කළ යුතු බවයි.
Together We Build – Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025
Marking the launch of a national initiative focused on innovation, excellence, and economic empowerment, the Ministry of Digital Economy successfully held the opening ceremony of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 under the theme “Together We Build” on November 14 at the Temple Trees.
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is an international annual celebration where innovators and entrepreneurs unite to promote creativity, collaboration, and economic growth.
This year too, Sri Lanka continues its active participation as part of this global network. The ICTA serves once again as the national host organization for this year's program.
The “Together We Build” initiative prioritizes strengthening Sri Lanka’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, empowering communities, and fostering sustainable growth through innovation. GEW 2025 is expected to be carried out as an island-wide program, highlighting the creativity, resilience, and collaborative spirit of Sri Lankans while elevating the Sri Lankan voice on global platforms.
The event was graced by Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Prime Minister, Hon. Eranga Weeraratna, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, Hon. Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya, Chief Advisor to the President on Digital Economy and Mr. Waruna Sri Dhanapala, Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Economy, along with many industry experts and local entrepreneurs.
